Culture

Committed employee for 2 years minimum. A culturally aligned apprentice by the end of the program

STEPS

  1. Fill out an Interest Form or send an email to admin@c4ita.org

  2. Interview and hire 1-2 Apprentices during the February-March recruitment cycle.

  3. Interview students, make offers, sign agreements.

  4. Celebrate apprenticeship agreement with a signing ceremony at school with Employer and Student during May 1st college admission decision period at high schools.

  5. Start the apprenticeship program from Summer.

Employer Expectations

1.   Cover costs of program to both the college and the C4ITA organization, including tuition, books and computer equipment.  (discuss with us about available incentives and grants)  

 

2.   Provide mentors to help the apprentice succeed.  

 

3.   Provide 20 hours per week of paid apprenticeship starting end of August, during the 2 years of the program.  

 

4.   Provide ongoing support and feedback to help evolve the program.
