Anand Setty
Anand Setty is the founder, president, and chairman of the Board of Directors of C4ITA. He brings over 30 years of experience in Information Technology, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing/R&D industry in the USA. Anand has held a series of progressive positions as an Engineer, Business leader, and as a Global Head of HR, in companies such as Abbott Labs, i2 Technologies, Infosys Public Services, etc. The core of his experience has been on innovation, ranging from engineering cross-pollination, business transformation, non-traditional talent development.
He has built multiple industry and academic relationships to develop internship and apprenticeship programs for High School, College, and Post-College IT "finishing schools", to grow scarce high-demand talent for business success. He serves as a trustee on the D128 Foundation for Learning board and also as a member of several career advisory boards such as Vernon Hills High School, Lake County Tech Campus, Chicago Public Schools, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and more.
He has a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering and in his free time, he likes to spend time with family, travel, explore different cultures, and continue his pursuit of trying every delicious dessert he finds along the way!
John Hart
John Hart is a founder and a member of the Board of Directors of C4ITA. He is a seasoned Information Technology executive with more than 30 years of experience in a variety of corporate settings ranging from PE backed startups to large international financial institutions.
Primarily focused on transformation and growth-based companies, John held a series of progressive leadership positions leading to C-suite roles in a number of technology and financial corporations such as Seed CX, Ventas, CME group, First Options, and MacArthur Foundation. The core of his career focus is centered on transformation ranging from creating one of the first algorithmic trading systems to building the world’s largest futures and options trading system, ultimately creating exchange technology to facilitate international trading of cryptocurrency.

John has a Masters in Business Administration. He is also a musician with 45 years of experience who enjoys playing many styles of music professionally. Leader, teacher and mentor in a number of volunteer and philanthropic organizations. An avid outdoor sports enthusiast enjoying downhill skiing, cycling, and hiking.
Dinkar Karumuri
Dinkar Karumuri is a founder and a member of the Board of Directors of C4ITA. He is the Chief Strategy Officer of Krasan Consulting, a technology firm based in the Chicago area specializing in delivering innovative enterprise solutions to governments and businesses countrywide. Dinkar Karumuri has over 20 years of experience serving for both public and private sector clients in cutting edge areas of Digital Transformation, Application Modernization, Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Intelligence, and Enterprise Application Integration.
Dinkar Karumuri is also a founding partner and an Advisory Board member for idSUREiTY, an identity platform for Government and Commercial enterprises. Dinkar’s community activities include Mayor’s Technology Council member, Member of business delegations to Israel and Mexico, Board Member at USPAACC-Midwest Chapter, and Policy Advocacy Chair of ITServe Alliance largest organization of IT businesses focusing on technology resources and their development.
He has published white papers about optimizing labor and budget management to provide accurate insight into the labor expenditure for Government and increase transparency. His research thesis on the Modeling and Analysis of Virtual Reality Systems was presented in the International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE98) in Kyoto, Japan.
He has Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In his spare time, Dinkar spends time playing and biking with his kids, and he enjoys cooking, playing golf and travel.
Advisory Board
Jakki Dace
Jacquelyn (Jakki) Dace is a member of the Advisory Board of C4ITA. She joined City Colleges of Chicago in February 2019. As the Director of Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning Programs she is developing apprenticeship programs for all CCC Centers of Excellence. Prior to joining CCC, she spent 13 years at Chicago Public Schools building and managing relationships with corporations, small businesses, non-profit organizations, trades and connected professionals to CPS students studying in a variety of career pathways.
She has over 20 years of experience in workforce development (2nd career). Her first career was in Software testing and development where she worked for IBM, Unisys, Ernst & Young and as an Entrepreneur. She has a proven track record for developing sustaining programs that support youth’s access to careers and promising futures.
Jacquelyn has a Master’s Degree in Education, is an Author, Public Speaker and Real Estate Broker.
Adam Lueken
Adam Lueken is a member of the Advisory Board of C4ITA. He has been teaching Computer Science at Vernon Hills High School for the past 11 years. He teaches two AP CS courses and a post-AP course in Data Structures. Eleven years ago he had only 14 students enrolled in CS, this year there are 280!
His nonprofit XPerience Consulting organization is very active in the community (building apps, websites, and promotional advertising) while most importantly getting students meaningful real-world experiences. This website was created by XPerience!
He has a Masters in Educational Leadership and he is an officer for the North Suburban Chicago CSTA (Computer Science Teachers Association) and a proud Dad of two.
